I run games semi-professionally at a bar here in Michigan, and I got to run this for a group of players who had only ever played DnD before.
The overall vibes of the competition were incredibly wonderful. Incredibly cute and heart-warming, and everyone at the table had a good time.
It struck a great balance between cute & chaos with the table. Those who wanted to make delightful food got a chance to come up with incredible creations. Those who wanted some mischief and chaos were able to have their fill of that as well. It had something for everyone.
It was an absolute delight of a game. Highly recommend this for everyone. Easy for everyone to learn as well.
I had the greatest pleasure of playing Candied Violets for Huetopia's Pride Brunchaton! I had so much playing small woodland creatures doing their best in a baking show! It is very relaxing and full of good vibes! Highly recommend picking this up!
I played this game for Huetopia's Pride Brunchathon (VOD) and this is soooo much fun playing woodland creatures in a baking show! It was rules-lite and easy to play, and just as easy to run/facilitate. I love the prompts listed for character creation, and there's enough room to be inspired, but also make things up yourself. I look forward to running this in the future :)
Just played this game for a livestream and it was such a blast! It is so quick and easy to grasp, but it really manages to capture the feel of a show like the Great British Bake Off! I had a wonderful time as Reggie the Raccoon, and I can't wait to introduce the game to my home group!
